Alfred J. Spatola passed in Haverhill, MA on May 12, 2026. He was 98 years old.

He was the devoted husband of the late Patricia F. (Morin) Spatola. Beloved father of Dawna Garabedian Whiteway and her husband Grant Whiteway, Jr. of Tewksbury, MA, John Spatola of Newport Richie, Florida, David Spatola and his wife Donna Spatola of Derry, NH, and the late Debora MacDonald. He was the cherished grandfather of Michael Garabedian and his wife Bridget Garabedian of Tewksbury, MA, Mark Garabedian of Melrose, MA, Matthew Spatola, of Tewksbury, MA, Jennell Desroches and her husband Ryan Desroches of Tewksbury, and Jillian Spatola of Boston, MA. Great Grandfather of Hazel, Jane and Vera, Harrison and Oscar Garabedian, Benjamin and Emmy Spatola, and Raelyn and Austin Desroches.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Patrick Church 71 Central Street, Stoneham, MA on Saturday June 27th at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
