Obituary

Alfred J. Plunkett, a proud Army veteran, passed away on August 30, 2024 at the age of 88. He lived a full life, enriched by his many travels with his dear mother, creating lasting memories across the globe. Known for his quick wit and humor, Alfred brought laughter to those around him. Though his time with his late wife Loretta was brief, it was filled with love and cherished moments.

Alfred had a deep passion for opera and a great love for his friends who lived in the same building, who brought joy and companionship to his life. He will be remembered for his kindness, loyalty and the love he showed to those around him.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024 from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM at the A.J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden. Procession will leave the funeral home at 10:00 AM to Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
