Obituary

Agnese (Pasquino) Marenghi passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2009 at the Brigham & Women's Hospital. She was 81 years old.

Born in Italy, Agnese was a longtime resident of Malden before moving to Waltham. She loved cooking, taking care of her grandchildren and spending time at the ocean.

Agnese was the devoted wife of the late Ciriaro Marenghi, her husband of 49 years. She was the beloved mother of Mario Marenghi and his wife Karen of Winthrop, Elisa Margenghi and her partner Jeanette and Maria Daigle and her spouse Yvette of Waltham. Agnese was the cherished grandmother of Rachael and Mario Jr. Marenghi and Jared and Jessica Daigle. She was the dear sister of Ermete, Tonino and Gianno Pasquino all of Italy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The Funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Wednesday, May 6th at 8:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden at 9:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Tuesday, May 5th from 4-8 p.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
