Obituary

Adrian Knyff Jr., Born in Jamaica Plain, MA on August 24, 1938, passed away on June 14, 2016. He was 77 years old.

Adrian served in the United States Navy and was currently a resident of Hollis, NH. He was a master mechanic and was in the Guiness Book of World Records during the 60's for top speeds in drag racing. Adrian was also was inducted into the New England Dragway Hall of Fame in 2008 for dragster racing.

Adrian was the beloved husband of Pam O'Connor Knyff. He was the son of the late Adrian Sr. and Doris E. (Anastasi) Knyff and step-son of the late Herbert I Anastasi. Adrian was the loving father of Donna M. Barretto, William A. Knyff, Adrian Knyff III and the late Linda C. Knyff. He was the brother of Billi Knyff Anastasi and the late Ruth J. Knyff and Aart A. Knyff. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street, Malden on Monday June 20th from 5-8p.m. A service will be held at 7:30p.m. during the visitation. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
